Haha, amazing gbo! Amazing season all! ROCcuse & I have seen some lean Syracusefan FPL mini leagues over the years, really just excited to see the number of participants up this year. It’s fun it came down to the final day to crown the Syracusefan champion. I’ll wear the belt with pride this year & try to reload my squad The Victory Train FC for next season the same way Liverpool’s reloading in the EPL ! Seriously… I just basked in an hour+ of postgame celebrations on NBC today, so good after Liverpool missed out with fans in 2020.

I’ll send a group message on Tuesday (with tomorrow being a holiday) to all the league members with my own personal payment info for this year’s league participation. I’m not going to push for this overly hard, just ask all members to honor that commitment.

Let’s keep recruiting the board for next season, how sweet would it be to have a 20 team FPL league reminiscent of the actual EPL?!

Man. Still trying to process the loss of Liverpool & Portugal striker Diogo Jota (and his brother) in a car accident yesterday. No matter who you are as a fan of the Premier League it stings, but even more so when it’s a player from “your” team like it is for myself & a few others I know are Liverpool supporters, he’s one of our own! Married 2 weeks ago, 3 kids… it’s so brutal. Gonna just share an item or two here in commemoration.

I remember when he and Adama Traore were on Wolves, LFC bought Jota, and the pundits were dumb founded we Diogo instead. Turns out Jurgen knew a thing or 2

I'm already excited for this upcoming FPL season!!! One adjustment made for this year is that all the chips are now available twice for the season, instead of just once (split into first & second half of the season). Two Wild Cards, 2 Bench Boost, 2 Triple Captains, etc. I have not seen any indication yet of the Assistant Manger chip coming back... it was a little clunky for sure, I didn't utilize mine well the first go through.

"Winnings" update! So, I've been patient & been trying to track down one particular Nike Liverpool jacket for the past month or two... it took a while & lots of internet searching, but I finally nabbed it. However, I won't celebrate until I get it in hand! I'll post a picture of it, it's the club gear item I purchased with the funds from winning this year, the amount worked out almost perfectly.

the game has been updated and live for a week or so you can log in and start setting up your teams.

As JDubbin mentioned above there are some rules/chip changes, including double the Chips,
some extra transfers given around the time of the African Cup of Nations, and the biggest one imo, is there is now potential for players to earn points for defensive statistics (clearances, blocks, interceptions, tackles).

We can try to answer questions/clarify anything here, but your best bet is to first read the Rules page here:
