Penn State is a disaster, Rutgers is a disaster, BC has never been the King of the East, UCONN and Temple, Meh. We have a live bowl streak, a proven winner/leader in Terrel Hunt and great recruits in back of him if he is injured or doesn't continue to progress, which I don't see happening.The ACC is ready to become the most exciting conference in college football with a National Champion. It is time for the Orange to be the major player again in the Northeast.

All we need is 1 5 star recruit to set this fan base on fire. Come on Mr. Holley orange Nation is calling you.

Nice thoughts but you need to get a grip on your expectations.

All you have to do is look at PSU's facilities and the fact they play before 100,000 and you can see why kids want to go there. That won't change and each year that passes brings them closer to expiration of sanctions. PSU is far from disaster.

We have a lot of ground to make up. Thomas Holley could turn out to be a bust for all we know. One recruit is never the answer. We need to keep improving year to year and in a couple of years we might be able to compete against everyone in the ACC.

We are only going to go as far as Hunt can take us in the next two years.

Yep...just keep building the base and recruiting hard and SU will continue to move ahead. It would be nice to see PSU have a 4-8 type of year though and for SU to kick the living junk out of them when we play. If SU can somehow get 45k+ a game at the Dome, we'd be sitting pretty and Crusty is right, that 100K is a tough thing to beat but again...45k+ at the Dome would be a helluva good thing.

I have drank 2 pots of coffee, I can't get a grip right now. But Penn State is now reaping their rewards and swithching

The dome needs to be like one of these car commercials, frenetic loud and overwhelming.

...coaches is bad for business.

LOL. Sure, switching successful coaches is certainlydifficult but it is far easier for some programs than others. A kid considering PSU knows they are not competing for a NC or something. He does know he will be a god in Happy Valley.

Happy Valley is really sorrowful valley, how are they still selling this fraud.

We seem like we are in position to make a good run the next couple years. 100K crowd is great, but PSU still has no bowls for a couple years and less scholarships. SU has always been an easier sell than Temple/Uconn. Rutgers is trending down... they will be in the bottom 3rd of the big 10 every year.

And at this exact moment in time I wouldnt trade places with Pitt or BC either.

We just need to keep recruiting on the same level as the rest of the ACC and keep putting the G-Rob era farther and farther into the rear view mirror.

Is that WR from PA still committed to us? People have been talking more about long shot guys we are going after instead of a blue chipper we landed. I'm excited about that-- WR IMO is the biggest position of need on the team.

{sniff} Gets me every time. {snert}
