Reality is a bit different. Being a chancellor means balancing academics and athletics, especially at a school like Syracuse where we don't have the same amount of resources for athletics from private donors. Kent was more supportive of athletics than people think, but it's an area where if you're a sports fan, you always want more.As far as I know, Kent hurt our NIL & athletics. No idea if that’s true or not, but if it is, hopefully a new chancellor can help the program out
I think without the Weitsman drama, people would have looked at him differently.
