T Hunts injury

After I saw Dungey's first few plays I thought he was an upgrade over Hunt. Hunt had the experience but Dungey had that something that makes someone a playmaker. That was clear after that first game. Hunt wasn't good enough to save HCSS's job. Hopefully Dino still comes despite not knowing about Dungey.

His scramble pass into the middle of the field (forgot who was the receiver) was all I needed to see to know this kid would be legit.

The more I think about it, this really is a strong possibility. People don't remember, but Hunt was absolutely stinking up the joint in his first couple of series against a BAD Rhode Island team. 0-2, 1 INT and one carry for two yards. He also stunk up the joint his junior year before he got hurt. He had 1 TD and 4 INT's through 5 games. It's very possible Dungey supplants him a few games into the year.

During camp, whenever Shafer was asked about Dungey a big smile came to his face.

Hunt had distinct limitations - Eric was going to play.
