Crittenden and Morton Post Top-Five Finishes at Penn Relays
Freddie Crittenden's fourth-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles and Reggie Morton's fourth-place finish in the long jump highlighted the Syracuse track team's trip to the Penn Relays this weekend.
Crittenden raced to a time of 13.99, just .15 seconds off the eventual winner Jordan Moore of LSU's time.
Morton leaped to a personal-best distance of 7.29 meters in his event, with Romero Hines of Norfolk State taking the top-spot with 7.51 meters.
Shaina Harrison once again stood out for the Orange as well, finishing in eighth in the 100-meter dash. She posted a time of 11.90 in the finals.
Regine Hunter took 9th in the triple jump (12.16 meters) and freshman Sophia Mossberg took 20th in the 110-meter hurdles (14.27 seconds) to continue the strong performances from the Orange.
Next up for 'Cuse is a number of runners will head to Cornell on Sunday.
