Agree just interesting so many portal players went down a level.
Is it though after a 3-9 season? I was more surprised how many ended up at other P4 schools honestly... I think 9 or 10 at this point.

Equally surprised we only to have 8 guys that portalled that haven't yet found new homes. That's gotta be higher % success vs most schools given the sheer volume of players still in the portal.

Fun fact: Cuse lost to Austin Peay in hoops back in the opener for the 75-76 season. I believe it was a 4 team tournament. Austin Peay gained some fame a few seasons earlier with NYC Playground Legend , Fly Williams

Austin Peay won 93-83 in Roy Danforth's last season. The Orange snuck into the NCAAs that season by beating Manhattan and Niagara in an ECAC play-in tournament. We traveled to UNT in Denton,TX and lost to Texas Tech by 10 pts. This coming the season after our F4 run in Mar 75.

Jim Boeheim took over the team for the 76-77 season...not sure if he lasted too long.
