I don't think you are talking out your ass at all. I believe Shafer when he says he recruits high character kids. It isn't a fluke that to a man every single recruit that visits talks about that family feel. Plus i'm sure twitter helps as it allows these kids to establish relationships far before they even get on campus. My Brother played during the G-rob debacle, and that wasn't the same story then. It wasn't horrible, but I never got the same family feel as we have seemed to have since Marrone overhauled the roster

Well, from being a school where players kids un-recruited kids on visits in Paul's last year or 2, we have come a long way.

**Tarvarus McFadden was offered by Miami a couple months back and they are still in the picture, but he seemed disappointed that the staff has not been keeping in contact with him much lately. He told me that he is way past any hard feelings about the “late” offer and that Miami shows “major love” when they do talk to him, but he wants that contact to be more frequent.

Lol, yeah as soon as I read the first 5 I stopped.

But wow looking at UCF, it's amazing what finally breaking into the top 10 and beating some big name teams can do for your recruiting.

I was hoping that because he and Dowels are team mates and Juwan seems to be pretty close with him that there might be a chance of at least getting a visit... or an honorable mention.
