TCU all over Miss early. As much as some might say its scheme, you can clearly see that Miss is worried about the TCU speed at WR. they are playing off all wideouts making all the short throws easy, then Miss adds to it playing zone and watching the QB ball fakes. huge holes to throw into..

If nothing else it shows that QBs need to have a quick release and throw it on time.

Speed Speed Speed.. lets find some please.

Words can't express how poorly Bo Wallace has been for Ole Miss. This performance is right out of an Andy Dalton playoff start.

It's amazing not only that Boykin was originally a wide receiver, but he looked absolutely awful last year in the pro-style offense. The best move Patterson ever did was change to a version of the air raid/zone read.

The one maddening thing they will do is throw fade after fade when they get down inside the 10. They take a ton of deep shots too. Fun offense to watch that's for sure.

Yep. Does upperdecker think they just got fast this year?

Just saw a worse goal line call, actually two in a row, than McF'it v L'ville.

Pistol, play action to the WB, from the 1, where they haven't been able block all day.

Couldn't we have at least matched TCU up with Baylor again if you weren't going to let them in the playoff? This isn't even fair.

TCU plays fast. Miss is coaching like they will slow down. OC has been awful at play calling, the QB is avg most of the time, the D has actually made some plays

and the Refs seem to be clueless.. for all the taunting calls this year I can believe they are letting TCU get away with some of this stuff.

Miss has not been good since about week 6..

13 yards 1 first down is all Ole Miss has in their first 4 possessions. Bo Wallace is playing scared.
TCU is better than Ohio State but the Bevo lack of a CCG and a being a co-champ killed them.

Ol Miss cant block anyone and yet they keep running slow pass plays and no power runs..

this is coaching more than talent.

If for some reason things don't turn around for SU next year or the following I know who I would love to have as a HC and just a hint, it's not the crooked Ole Miss coach.

I had the pleasure of watching the TCU-Baylor game. TCU dominated the first 3 quarters inside Baylor's house. I'm not sure if Patterson was trying to send a message, or what, but they killed themselves being far too aggressive. Sure up to that point TCU hadn't been stopped, but you were in the 4th quarter and Boykin was still throwing bomb after bomb. I can't remember if Catalon had got hurt, and that was before Greene emerged, but it was very poorly managed by an extremely good college football coach. I am sure Patterson hasn't stopped beating himself up over it because once Baylor got things going they rode the home field momentum all the way home. That place was electric that day too (believe it was College Gameday?). What i'm getting at is the home field advantage won the game that day. I had no doubt TCU was the better team, and feel they are much better then tOSU. I mean TCU pretty much steamrolled everyone on the schedule all year, and then you have tOSU losing at home to a pretty blah VT team, and scraping by an offensively inept PSU. The BigXII really screwed TCU this year for not having a title game. If I am Bowlsby I am addressing this immediately, or else this will just keep happening.

And it was just few years ago that they accepted an invitation to join the Big East!

Ole Miss obviously didn't care about this game according to some on here;)
Not in this case. Ole Miss is playing hard and trying that is obvious. TCU is just much more physical and all over the place. They are a step faster. This clearly ISN'T a case of Ole Miss mailing it in

Ole miss offensive line isn't helping Bo one bit, however may be most bi polar player in Cfb. Ole miss has some injury prob also so your saying injuries effect a team??

Based on the 2 exciting plays Ole Miss has had all game, I'm pretty sure they would be doing the same thing if they didn't suck so much.

I agree with you though, seen that in a lot of the bowl games so far. Lots of throwing open handed shots to helmets after plays too, in the other bowl games I've watched. Very surprised those aren't called more

The last time I recall seeing a hang gesture being called on a penalty is our Pinstripe Bowl game against KSU. If you recall, there was a lot of outrage after the game about that call. Wonder if the NCAA took note and softened their stance on the rule.
