I've we're able to land a kid like this, and possibly a WR via the transfer portal [to go along with Alford returning], we'll really have lots of weapons on offense.

Here's hoping Beck can sell Terry on how TEs were utilized at UVa.

Could give us some really interesting options - like a 12 personnel lineup ... Jones and Alford out wide, Gadsden at one TE spot & Terry at the other, with LA in the backfield. Defenses wouldn't be able to shade safeties to Gadsden and would be forced to cover the whole field.

And with Shrader such a running threat...doesn't sound like a pleasant task for a DC.

People have been high on Villari's TE progress/
We have Mang/Mahar.
We have Clement( knee injury) out of CBA...big dude.
Unless somebody is "leaving" do we need 5?(plus Gadsden TE in name only)

Nah this kid is legit. Was one of the top HS tight end prospects in the nation with monster offers. Cal just blows. Terry is 6-4 255 and is better off the get than anyone we have. He'll catch a few dozens balls here and won't be abused when blocking.

I’m glad to be really wrong on this one. I wrote in another thread I didn’t think we had a chance with him. We’re a tough sell usually for west coast players. Great job by the staff just getting a visit.
