Truthfully, TE wasn't anywhere near the the top of my priorities, but like the talent. A young Ravian Pierce, hopefully w/o the penalties.

I also look at what he projected as out of HS as vs how SC was using TEs this season and see that there seems to be a bit of a scheme mismatch which certainly played into it.

Very high upside pickup. Played a lot as true freshman last year and missed spring practice due to an injury. That supposedly put him behind the other 2 tightends and affected his playing time this fall. SC coaches/fans did not want to see him leave. He was actively being pushed to stay as recently as last week even though he left the team in October trying to preserve redshirt and transfer.

Good stealth move by Fran and we’re prob getting him under market value $$ wise because he hasn’t produced as expected yet.
