Team USA- Vegas question

Hey!

Does anyone know where Team USA is practicing in Vegas, and if it's open to the public? My girlfriends 14 year old son and his cousin just finished a basketball camp in Portland, and are in Vegas for the week visiting their grandparents. Thought it would be cool if they had a chance to see their favorite NBA players working out for a bit.

Are these types of things usually open to the public at all?

I believe it's at UNLV, so either the Mack or the Cox Pavilion.

Ahh it's at the Mendenhall Center on UNLV’s campus. I wonder if it's open to the public.

I doubt it's open to the public ( I don't personally know), but I know the complex quite well, no doubt you'd probably be able to walk up and meet the players on the way out or in.

Thomas and Mack Center. They were running on side-by-side courts. It was on ESPN last night. I watched for about an hour. Melo is the elder statesman now, getting lots of positive pub, about how he's better in international ball than the NBA. Mike is all over the TV, too. Getting great exposure.
