The data are from the the 2012/13 academic year and do no reflect the new ACC TV deal. Regardless, Louisville and FSU should break into the $100MM Club next year and Syracuse should have a really nice showing, too.
In the related thread: http://syracusefan.com/threads/total-revenues-by-team.76842/ the data are from Equity in Athletics which also appear to be old data. In that data, which appears to be from 2011/12, Syracuse was #37 at $76MM.
It will be great to see what the real numbers are for the year ending now, 2013/14, the first year in the ACC will provide a nice boost to Syracuse' ranking and total.
The Teel article is for 2012 based on his references to Texas and Louisville totals which tie into the Equity for Athletics totals. The grand total numbers can be pulled from either database, its the same data.
Here is the ACC for 2012.

Thanks, GO. If I read this correct and then add the NBC article revenue estimate, Syracuse should be around the mid $90MM. Obviously there can be fluctuations in donations and ticket sales but this is overall very good news!
In 2010 SU Grand Total Revenue was reported at $51M. 2012 $76M. Will see another big jump with the ACC dollars. SU could be up $40M in reported total revenues between 2010 and 2013.
The question is where did the $25M jump come from? Somebody should be asking Gross that.
Well he is wrong...Syracuse which doesn't report is above VTech and would bump them out.
FB centric schools how no idea how much a cash cow...SU Basketball is. 25k season ticket holders times 20 or so home games...yeah that is a ton of guaranteed income.
Part of the answer is in ticket sales, both prices and numbers have increased since 2010, but I don't think that accounts for everything. It may be part of the funky SU accounting, hopefully it is legitimate. Another source could be better and consistent donations under Marrone and Shafer. It would be cool to see real number provided by the university.
As long as Syracuse is truly improving its revenues, I'll be glad. I don't ever want to read a Syracuse article similar to what we read about Rutgers.
