By the way, how are those changes working out?

Check out Indiana University.

BC, Duke, Stanford, Wake all fired more successful coaches than Dino within the last dozen years.

I didn't say that keeping Babers would be a popular decision on this Board.

It wouldn't be.

But then again, getting Dino to Syracuse in the first place was a wildly popular decision on this Board a few years ago.

Dumping Pasqualoni was a popular decision on this Board.

And aside from GOSU96, hiring Marrone was not a particularly popular decision on this Board.

Both were correct decisions. Gross botching the new hire with GRob doesn't change that, nor does the hiring of (at the time) a very successful Babers. Like P, Babers is underperforming and merits dismissal. In my opinion, he should have been ditched after 2020.

This is either big time football, or it's not. Half-assing it will continue to yield the same results, which is fine if the school just wants to cash checks but might bite them in the azz with conference realignment/consolidation.

He was 20-45 in a fairly weak football conference. His teams were at best undisciplined and at worst an on field mess. They had no idea what they were doing.
