Here are the actual high temperatures in Syracuse for each day in 2018 compared to the average high, (based on stats that go back to 1901) and the difference that day, + or – as well as a running deficit or surfeit. Here is the website I used for these numbers:

The numbers are the date, the actual high, the historical average high, the net difference, the cumulative net since January 1st, the numbers of days we exceeded the historical average, the number of days we didn't reach it and the number of days we tied it.

Comment: What a month! We were -262 degrees in temperature, an average of -8.7 per day, and 3-27 in days. Since I started charting temperatures at the beginning of 2014, there have been two colder months, relative to the average highs for each day: last April, which was -266 and the legendary February of 2015 when we were -431, an average of -15.4 degrees per day. In that month we were below the average high 27 of 28 days and even with it once. Our 3-27 record for days won and lost in November was the second worst month to 2/burr!/15.

Climate change is a world wide phenomenon that evidences itself over decades. My numbers are at one locality over one year. I'm just interested in answering the question "How cold it it?" or "How hot is it?"

November sucked. Most of the weekends in October sucked too. The summer was meh. It's been a pretty dreary stretch for sure.
