Some good points here. Has me thinking does anyone know if this game will have SEC referees? In true road games, the away teams' conference typically refs the games I believe.

Since this is a neutral site game which conference will provide the refs?

According to the game contract, the officiating crew will not come from the SEC nor the ACC.

Tennessee fans are passionate without a doubt. They also have a big inferiority complex because they think should have the same respect Alabama and Georgia get. I think on paper Tennessee is a 14 point favorite before any analysis is done. And at this point no amount of analysis will prove anything for either team in either direction. In my opinion Tennessee has the deeper, higher ranked (recruiting based) roster but Syracuse has the better coach and possibly better QB. Time to lace them up!

Agree with all of this. I was just about to post a similar comment in the predictions thread. I think they should be the favorite but a 14 point spread is just too high to me. I think SU is better than they think and Tennessee is a bitt worse than they think.

Gun to my head, I think this game is fairly similar to our opener against Penn State in 2013 at MetLife.

Everything about the scenario is similar except for the quality of the Syracuse coach and staff!
