Tennessee Postgame

About to put the sound off but Scott started becoming bearable even though he doesn’t know how to use a microphone.

Agree, I take back my early comment about Scott

It's like there's a Tony Romo out there in Basketball, he made the game fun

UT shot 53% and we shot 59% from the line. Lousy free throw shooting must be contagious.
5+ or more years ago I swear we were 80% plus... or was it 2010 or earlier... Missing a free throw is really bad, we kinda suck at it but it matters so much, as well as not getting fouled but also capitalizing on it. This was the first game we did better on both of those fronts and why we won. It wasn't the three pointers for sure, and we need to stop that trend imo.

We would have won some of the Vegas games if we could shoot free throws.

Out of curiosity, how far back are you allowed to stand on an inbound? Is it unlimited? I don't think I've ever seen someone set up that far back before.

Phenomenal pass.
It's interesting. Just watched the end of the Duke Florida game. Exact same play at the end of their game, but the crowd is so close to the court on the baseline that the inbounder couldn't back up very far and Malik Brown deflected the inbound.

I’m so happy for JJ. He gets a lot of stuff from a lot of people (I’ve been guilty of this myself), but he had an incredible game tonight. Glad to see him have this signature moment in his last year at Syracuse, he deserves it.

After the third big shot he hit, I finally stopped yelling "NO!" whenever he looked at the basket.

White and Starling both were at 50% and Kyle 40%. It was a team effort in mediocrity.
They really need to do better overall. This is a basic skill with no pressure. It should be 100%
