Tennessee Postgame

Kentucky 1994 was acceptable.

Thanks to…. AA.
Loving these discussions. I’m now 56 years old. I was still at ESF at this time, in my long road to graduation. My 22 year old son was born in 2003.

Guys who think the kids at SU should act like they’ve been there before need to seriously lighten up. Real success is a just a fond memory for most of their parents. It’s just a fable for the kids.

The work and pressure that Autry feels every day must be overwhelming. I'm really happy that he got the win, and that he got that moment. In that huddle with his guys, it looked like pure happiness.
It’s not easy, replacing a hall of famer that left on a down period, the fan base is beyond hungry for winning. At the same time, our rival to our southeast is running a well oiled machine. I think though that the program has gone through a lot to get back to having the talent level on the roster needed for success. I know Red talks a lot about the level 5 energy and not having dips, but that’s really what it is. If this team can give full energy 40 minutes night in and night out, follow the scouting reports, and knock down the shots the defense gives you. We’re going to win a lot more games than we lose.

FWIW Tenn is 12-6 about to be 12-7

doubt they even make the NCAAT

crazy to rush the court for beating such a team

Tennessee just knocked off Alabama.

They seem to be getting better - there was some game a couple weeks ago where they were getting blown out and Ament really seemed to try to take over in the second half. He's been much better since then (when I've watched) - more assertive. Although they did mention tonight he didn't do much against Kentucky earlier in the week. Still, I think they make the tourney if Ament is consistent.

Although Carey got hurt tonight...that would leave them in a bit of trouble if he misses time.

I guess 'Bama & Oata are going to be back to the waiver wire after this loss. :(
