But can they score?? lmaoPaul Finebaum: 34
Mike Tirico: 17 I hate to say it and i hope to god i am wrong but I am really worried about our ability to score. Their defense is loaded. I despise the SEC and this game would make my whole season, but I just got a bad feeling this will be close at halftime and they start to pull away in the second half. On Defense we have to make them throw the ball, i do not think that QB is all that good, and their WR's don't impress me, their TEs seem legit. We will see, GO CUSE!
But can they score?? lmao
Until we see how the OL looks no way to predict.
A score of 158-151 was the final score of the mixed team gold medal match in the 2014 World Archery World Cup Final. Somehow, I don't think that this was the reference to which you were referring...
Initially I thought that maybe the format of the game was changed to 7v7. THAT would make sense for that kind of score.
As a fan, I’ve never claimed to be a voice of reason. Isn’t that antithetical to being a fan anyway?!Predictions are silly for a fan of a team. As a fan, you want your team to win and be the person predicting a win when everyone assumes a loss. As a fan trying to objective, you want to be the voice of reason cautioning against unrealistic expectations. Either way, it ends up being just trying to get out in front of ideas ("See, I was a true believer"... "See, I was a true realist"). I think we need to save our predictions for games not involving us. That being said, the prediction texts are funny. So carry on.
Did I pick us to win? Yes. Will I pick us to win bs Clemson or ND? No. The fact is TN has as many unknowns as we do and quite frankly talking to UT fans down here about the state of that team has me optimistic about our chances.Predictions are silly for a fan of a team. Disagree as far as a prediction thread goes. We're fans and as you say, its fun. As far as "saving for games not involving us..." That's my rule for betting. I never bet on or against my teams. It just makes losing so much worse and winning is not any better than winning money on a different game.Predictions are silly for a fan of a team. Geeze, this isn't geopolitical predictions or something that serious. haha. Isn't the balance of emotions and logic what makes being a sports fan of a particular team, like fun?Predictions are silly for a fan of a team. As a self proclaimed amateur color analysis expert, I respectfully disagree with your characterization of Tennessee‘s color.Orange and Blue - 14
Orange and white -38

I never said it was not fun. But I am pretty sure "Funny Thing <score> Other Funny Thing <score>" is not exactly a meaningful perception/insight.Geeze, this isn't geopolitical predictions or something that serious. haha. It's an opportunity to share our perceptions of the game. Not everyone can read/water/listen all the preview material. I come here for insight and get a judge of what our fanbase thinks for the coming game.
