Yes the injuries to Thompson and Raymond are troubling, yes the olive and safety potion are questions that need answering. The Rb position has questions and yes the coaching has some questions to answer. That all being said nothing else matters in comparison to the Qb play we get out of Terrell Hunt. If the Hunt of last year shows up then 2 and 10 is a real possibility as some prognosticators have laid out. If the Hunt that played the last 4 to 5 games of two years shows up and we get some of the other question marks answered positively we might get the six wins needed to get to a bowl. If by sitting in the booth last year and learning, if being a senior leader, if playing in simplier yet more efficient offensive system helps raise his game, and we get unexpected play in our questions areas we may be an 8 and 4 team.
The bottom line is if we don't get competent college level qb play and let's face it competent play at the qb level in this day and age is at least 2500 yds passing, 20 td passes , being able to run for key first downs when under pressure and limiting interceptions to 5 or less then nothing else will matter and this team is going nowhere but to the bottom of the ACC standings.
