Terrence Roberts checking in...

I love Terrence's enthusiasm. And I guess I can finally forgive him for slapping the backboard and getting T'ed up against Vermont.

That's such a stupid thing to give someone a T for though. If I was a ref, that's definitely something I would always look the other way on. Has zero effect on the game.

I have no problem with getting a T for slapping the backboard if it was consistently called that way. Problem is it was called very sporadically back then. Maybe 50% of the time it got called.

That wad an enormous call in that game. IIRC, it came off the press and a steal when we had all the momentum.

When John Thompson was receiving his third technical from Jim Burr in 1990 and the Dome was going absolutely bonkers, were you in the stands shouting "don't T him up, it has no effect on the game!"

:)

Thats funny...this is the first play I think of when I think about that game. One of the dumbest plays ever.

I think about why JB didn't press with all of the dead spots in the floor.

I wonder why his post gives his location as Lyons, NY. Maybe they stopped by the family business for something.

He was on the train heading back to the Midwest (Chicago I think) after bringing his young son to the SU basketball camp

I love that a college graduate says "we coming."
Given what he wanted to type, his tweet was exactly 140 characters - the limit on Twitter. Right or wrong, Twitterese is becoming the rule as opposed to the exception.

Can't read it at work (I hate Twitter). What'd he say?

edit: Yes, I'm aware this was posted forever ago and I could have read it at home had I opened the thread haha.
