You can call it a Cuckoo rant if you want...but it is true. Syracuse's finances are just like yours when you were a kid and bought that skate board...pay as you go...build as you collect money..Now, you understand..Great...LOL...

I’ve been pretty vocal in my position that some fans have unrealistic expectations of how well Syracuse can and will compete in college football…and even I think the good doctor here may be well advised to seek out psychiatric help.

For the same reasons that rich men...keep marrying younger trophy wives... they want the best of the best...and they want it and can afford it now!!

What I am saying is that we need to be more realistic with expectations. We are in an Arms race with the NIL and paying players, and we just don't have the same ammo as many of the other schools in the ACC. North Carolina, Florida State, Clemson, Wake Forest, Duke, and Georgia Tech, have more cash to spend than we do. The only peer schools in the ACC for the Cuse are BC and Pitt. We are behind the others in most of the key ingredients for success. But, SU fans don't want to accept that.

A good number of people here think Dino should be kept on because we can't get anyone better. I think most fans clearly understand where we are in the arms race.

A lot of the staging of facility improvements was done to not interfere with the multiple SU teams ability to play home games.

In the face of all this nonsense being posted about who we should get as coaches and why we can't compete...etc...etc, clearly if they understood our shortcomings, there would not be all this unrealistic chatter... A lot of pessimists are also realists!
