From what I've read, it appears that Jimbo didn't get everything he wanted facility wise (wanted a $60MM football facility, compare with SU and Clemson, both for less than $20MM) and several other excessive items.  FSU has fallen a little bit behind the SEC in facilities but that will stop as soon as cooler heads prevail (within a few years) as you cannot justify a private bowling alley, dedicated whiffle ball field for football players only, etc.  In short, this is created by by both sides.

Add to that the insane fan base coupled with Jimbo's thin skin and failure to land two QB's after Jamies Winston and the mix was right for the fan base explosion.  He will get thicker skin or he will be looking elsewhere in 2-3 years.  He will not get five years to turn things around, especially since he has a decent team to work with (QB injuries at TAMU to start the season caused a few losses).  Regardless, he had better beat Saban and LSU some of the time or he will not be in College Station long.

He just gave up a job for life as long as he averaged 9 wins annually and challenged for championships, which at FSU most of us could accomplish with the athletes ready to commit to FSU.
