Horrible game, (worse than the first), and the team I was rooting for couldn't do anything right.

Watching that game was like having a root canal for 3 1/2 hours. :bang::bat:couchburn(n)

I just put in Caddyshack 2 to feel better before I went to bed...

I would have been more entertained if those two teams lined up and took a spelling bee mid field.

I'm sorry that isn't football. That is a bad soccer game what I saw tonight. Literally nothing happened except field goals and punts.

Classic Arts Showcase on WCNY2. An orchestra is playing the music from "Dr. Zhivago"

I was quite the cello player in high school...I may have to check it out.

It could be worse. You could be a lifelong LSU fan who had to sit through that, knowing that the Bama fans would start their Rammer Jammer cheer when the game ended. It was even worse knowing that the QBs who could throw the ball down the field were not going to get a chance. Stubborn coaches can drive you crazy!

call me crazy but Alabama/LSU 50...Okie State 31 would have been a lot better...

I'm glad I didnt watch the game. I'm sure we'll be force-fed by ESPN just how great this game was.

Maybe if LSU just had another 12 weeks to prepare it would have been better?

What a borefest. Painful. Why LSU didnt switch Qbs was beyond me, Nunes ran the option better. And boy This BCS things a beaut huh?

At least the HBO movie Edge of Darkness and the ESPN2 E60 Chris Herron story were good alternative viewing. I used to love college football so much, not as much these days.

I'd rather listen to Mike Douglas sing

Simple. Lee panics under pressure and the coaches are scared to death of what he might have done against Bama. I said they should have gone with their young 3rd teamer once the game was clearly lost (15-0), since at least he'd be getting some experience for next season.

Was terrible, very similar to the Florida - Ohio State game a few years ago, although it's always fun to watch an overconfident Ohio State team end up with less than 100 yards of offense.

Between UConn - Butler and now this, I think I give up on college championships for awhile (until SU gets there in a couple months). Otherwise, I'll pick a wall to paint that day and watch it dry that night.

The game was won by a team with a player named "Smelley"

Not like Jefferson, huh?

LOL. That interception of his was pretty bad. I think this just shows that the coaches were terrified about what would happen if Lee had to face that pressure from the Bama defense. But I have a feeling that any team in the country would have been in trouble against Bama tonight. Saban schemed his defense perfectly to the Tigers, and only some sort of change could have altered that outcome. And unfortunately for LSU, they used up all of their surprises the first time the two teams played. It sucks that the Tigers couldn't have faced someone else in the game, but that's the way things go.

I think the last thing you hope to hear with 4 minutes left in the National Championship game, and after 116 minutes of football, is "and someone finally scores a TD."

Awesome game(s). Ugh.

Because these are two SEC teams, the spelling bee would have ended in a scoreless tie.

I watch all other playoffs - pro football, pro & college basketball, baseball, lacrosse just because of the element of elimination. It's so bad with college football that I forgot about the NC game until about 11 pm just before I turned off the TV at 11:02 pm for the night.

College football playoffs - yawn!

SUCK IT HATERS WE CHAMPS NOW

Did I wake up and this became an Alabama message board?

The national spelling bee is pretty compelling. Though the comedy factor of watching SEC student athletes asking to use "cat" in a sentence would be tough to beat.
