I echo everyone's thoughts. I have been the lucky beneficially a few times also and saw two of the "worst" games in Cuse history: the LeMoyne loss and the last second Paul Harris, Pitt debacle. I guess I am a jinx. It truly is amazing everything that she has done for the university and her friends on Syracusefan.com (and the Boneyard as well). When that article about her came out a few years ago that someone referenced above, I couldn't wait to print it out to show my wife so she could see this very nice person who I have talked about. Thank you Joyce and many, many more happy birthdays (and championships).

Here is a list of some other people that she shares her birthday with including LeBron, Tiger, Sandy Koufax and Matt Lauer. She has contributed to society as much if not more than all of those people.

Don't know her well, but I would guess that the best way to honor Joyce would be to post with a little more dignity and repect, agree to disagree, and remember we are all Orange fans. I don't think she wants or needs the public adulation.

It can't be stated enough how much Joyce does for SU, the hoops program and our motley crew of fans here on the board. OE, you are a most deserving recipient of some of that generosity for all you do for us here no question.

Agreed. Joyce is a special person who has helped a vast number of people in different ways. She is a great friend for me, for the people who use this board, for anyone associated with SU and hundreds, probably thousands that have benefited from her contributions, both fiscal and otherwise.
