No, the comparison was garbage, and still is. Still curious what parts are comparable and if they are why isn’t Benny starting? DC would’ve been the first or second guy off the bench for this team his freshman year?
Repeating the straw man interpretation of my comment will not somehow transform it from fiction into reality.
You et al. willfully translated my comment into a form of "Benny is equal or better than DC!"
I did not say that, nor did I intend it.
The thread question was "what player does Benny remind you of?"
I mentioned DC because of the similarities I see in their physical abilities, including their ball-handling skills. Some have already disagreed with that, but my recollection was that Coleman--
as a freshman--certainly had excellent ball-handling skills for a guy his height, but from what I've seen of Benny's game, I judge his to be superior to DC
as a freshman.
Still, in spite of the innocence of my comment, you and your cabal of Boeheim critics seized upon it, re-constructed it into something you could attempt to ridicule, for the sole reason that you collectively resent my outspoken favorable commentary re: Jim Boeheim.
It's telling, because you--collectively--act to have each other's back whenever one of you decides to attempt me to ridicule me. Reminds me of 13-yr old adolescents trying to In-Group Out-group harass someone who doesn't identify with their caustic criticisms of someone they feel superior to.
You're acting with malicious intent, actually trying to define a steadfast supporter of Jim Boeheim as someone worthy of group ridicule. You could contest my observations on their merits, in a form that doesn't include deprecations of another Syracuse fan, but your group narcissistic cult feels threatened by my defense of Boeheim, so you see me as an enemy to gang up on.
It's indefensible.
I recommend that you abandon these malign instincts and accept the idea of answering my observations with counters that don't include the denigrations. I would be good for you...
