The ACC 2022-23 Season

Another pickup for VaTech...might be the favorite in the ACC.

They have a pretty experienced team but the loss of guard Aisha Sheppard will hurt. Guess they figure they have her replacement with Maryland transfer Owusu, who with the Covid year will have 2 years there.

Big pickup for NCState...ACC is going to be a fight.

BC going w the Cuse Womens roster plan of having only 1 human north of 6’2”.

bold GIF
they have a 6-5 and 6-3 center... and 8 over 6ft..that's pretty good size..but young team

BC, Clemson, Fla State all winnable. GaTech winnable as well but Hermosa could be tough but don't see the ball handlers or shooters Cuse has.

Said before Fair and Hyman are going to tear teams apart. If our bigs can rebound we will embarass some of the best teams.

Cuse will have speed, scoring and depth enough to press loads. The bigs we have are experienced enough to give us plenty of boards with quick outlets to the guards & forwards

Some analyst...please get someone that knows something...Fair 5...keep under estimating us! Go Orange!

Another person who rates Carr too high, she is a nice player but Hyman had more assists, and was by far the best player on the team. And Fair just might be better then Hyman, she was in the tournament and gave Tennessee fits.
They threw multiple people at her, and they always have a lot of talent.

Still digesting our schedule...non-conference is soft, potential to win them all if healthy and time chemistry is good. Wake is a nice way to break in to ACC play. Thinking maybe 12-1 when they meet Lville. 7 games against early Top 25 - 7Lville, 8NC St, 9ND, 11VaTech, 13NC... I feel Lville overrated and VaTech is underrated.

SEC or ACC

SEC has the two of the best teams (SoCarolina and Tenn) and really looking to see what Harper gets out of her team. I agree that the ACC will be very competitive but the so call experts all seem to lean towards Lville. Walz is good coach but not sure they are best in the league.
