The Bears hiring Schiano should trigger the NFL forcing a sale of the team to competent people.

I’m a Bears fan. One, as dumb as the organization is they aren’t this dumb……. I don’t think. But if hiring him led to the organization being sold, I’d be all for it.

Home: Ohio, Miami (Ohio), Iowa, Maryland, Oregon, Penn State.

Away: Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio State, Purdue, Washington.

Ohio and Miami are in MAC title game and Ohio has won ten games like three years in a row.

In conference likely go 1-3 at home and at best 2-3 away.

They are looking at a 5-7 to 7-5 season again next year - again, his agent likely leaked that to try and secure some job security for after next season.

While I would enjoy seeing Rutgers attempt to replace Shady with a competent coach, Rutgers lacks the real money to higher a top level coach and nobody wants a complete rebuild in the shadows of UM, tOSU, PSU, Wiscy, USC, UCLA, UNL, MState, etc. Shady's overrated recruits are not a base from which a new HC could build a team. The program runs in the red. The Academics hate the Athletics Department because the AD raids the academic world of funds. The fans, all three of them, cannot agree on anything. Just not a welcoming opportunity to awaken a "sleeping giant".

So good! I don’t know if guys who aren’t from Jersey or never went to shi* stadium truly understand just how loathsome their fans are. They all talk as if they are relevant. “Everyone is in their rear view mirror“ etc.

That would likely start an Uncivil War between the Bears faithful of Illinois and New Jersey taxpayers for allowing Jersey governments to Hire Shady in the first place. Fortunately, most of Chicago can't get out and Northern NJ thinks there is nothing between the PA border and the West Coast, so it will be limited to uncivil verbiage and acts between the two sides.
