I’ll say one good thing about Rutgers: they won me some money tonight.
Must feel doubly nice, they win you money while losing the game. Can you ask more of a Shady team?I’ll say one good thing about Rutgers: they won me some money tonight.
When the planets align for Rutgers, Shady still finds a way to lose.Goal post clank, blocked punt, 4th quarter interception, and victory formation for Iowa in front of a record crowd = HOF Shady
Will they go all out next year to celebrate his 100th Victory?I laughed at the comment. Shady has never been great and at best is a paper tiger, at worst a fraud.

A lifetime record of 0.490 winning percentage, 97-101.
Shady will be lucky to break .500 on the season let alone break into winning territory for his lifetime record. And needing luck to reach .500 this year with the pansiest of schedules.
Yep and Purdue could beat them this year too. Not so sure about MDThey have to pick off all three of @purdue, Maryland and @Minny next week. If they lose next week, their season is over unless they pull off an upset somewhere.
Knowing shady it wont be for two more years. Will they go all out next year to celebrate his 100th Victory?
Only if he schedules an extra FCS team or twoKnowing shady it wont be for two more years.
The BTN advertises it as a milestone. Rutgers goes all out, printing T-shirts for the students, ticket give-away to claim a sellout crowd (ignore the half empty stadium, also known as the SHI* Hole), a special food deal, The Shady Shack SNAFU, includes a hot dog, popcorn and soda for $25, and Shady pockets a seven figure bonus for the 100th win. Final TV ratings .001 share. Will they go all out next year to celebrate his 100th Victory?
Yeah but that .001 share all came from the NEW YORK market!!!The BTN advertises it as a milestone. Just a guess.
Turning on "The Savior".
While I agree in principle, especially as Rutgers has never been afraid of digging the hole deeper in lieu of filling in the hole. Who will take the job? They get no support, they have horrible resources, the Athletic Department is so full of corruption and fraud, Washington DC is taking notes, they are built on recruiting lies, they cannot keep NJ recruits, they lose half the recruits they "get" before ever enrolling, they have no history, and every coach that goes to Rutgers effectively ends their careers.Turning on "The Savior".
If they somehow miss a bowl this year, I can see them spending more of the NJ taxpayer money and getting rid of him. And if they don't, they'll continue to suck (in a mediocre way), unless they can figure out a way to play Norfolk St and Miami (OH) every week.
It smells. While I agree in principle, especially as Rutgers has never been afraid of digging the hole deeper in lieu of filling in the hole. Who will take the job? Did I miss any other negatives of coaching at Rutgers?
There are always more Ashes and Floods of the world, just like their offense they will find another 3 and out coach. While I agree in principle, especially as Rutgers has never been afraid of digging the hole deeper in lieu of filling in the hole. It's in Piscataway?Did I miss any other negatives of coaching at Rutgers?
They inhale too much of the pollution so readily available in northern Jersey. Fran will not go to Rutgers to ruin his career. They vilified and mocked Fran last year. Now some on their board are advocating for Rutgers to hire him. Others say he will be in the SEC next year. I take Fran at his word if other schools make a run at him.
