I think this is the first time I can remember this working for us as an SU fan. It always seems to me that my team is the one that gets jinxed by the announcers until last night. A brief synopsis of what happened is below (forgive any errors in names or years in the following recap):
Raftery: "Syracuse has yet to hit a 3 pointer and is 0 for 8 from behind the arc. The last time they went a whole game without a 3 was in the Big East Tournament in 1999"
2 seconds later...
Scoop: "FU Raftery"
Not sure if anyone else caught it, but it's just one of many things Scoop did to make me smile last night.
