Schedule 2 awful teams at home + a bye week the 3 weeks before playing Clemson. Effectively making it appear that we actually have a pretty good team and stand a decent chance of pulling off the upset, despite whatever happened in weeks 1-2. They definitely maximized the intrigue and ticket sales for this game even though its evident that Clemson is in a whole other class.
