But he was also relatively short and built like a linebacker. Even Rick was really a PF that could play the 5 in college. One not on Sid, and this isn't pertaining to the quoted post, Sid had a PER of 20 last year. That's pretty good. His PPG were what they were. And the reason I bring that up is that if we were to have a center that was decent defensively (whether positionally or shot blocking ability, whatever) and could basically have a strong-hand baby hook, good on put bucks/garbage buckets and passable on rim runs... it would be fine. We don't need Shaq.

Feel bad for Marek. Even in his good games, he's still getting beaten up. That's got to be tough.
