You may be right, but remember its just half of one game. I think he will be good but lets not get too far ahead of our selves.

Remember we had to go thru a season, or so, of "Mid-Major James" with Southerland before he turned it on against everyone. Cooney will be an asset this year, no doubt, but lets get some more miles on the tires. I watched the Duke replay last night and we are going to need him in that game. I usually look at Duke as 1 pts real good, 1 part media fiction, but they look scary good. Parker is the real deal.

He would average 50 at the D3 level.

lolol...I don't recall a lot of D3 comments (i'm sure they exist), but I do recall a ton of "he has no business at a high D1" posts.

Duke is scary good indeed. 4 Pukies had 20+ points last night. We do need TC, but we will need his D and the entire team's effort on D. I saw Ennis steal the ball off a trap, but Cooney was probably the best last night playing the passing lanes. Our defense will get a lot better than against Cornell, but I just hope we'll be finely tuned by the time we play the boys from Tobacco Road.

Remember Duke played Davidson last night. Let's see how Parker matches up against Kansas on Tuesday. Cooney's worked hard and kept his head up through some adversity.

JB's defenses almost always get better with time. This group has much room for improvement due mainly to the inexperience in the backcourt. However, anyone expecting this defense to steamroll their way to wins like we've seen in the recent past may be disappointed.
