The shop shouldn’t have bothered inquiring with the NCAA or Syracuse. It’s food. It’s disposable. They’re not on anyone’s radar, except for some Facebook troll who was trying to stir up trouble. The tournament would be over (and the donuts long since eaten) before the NCAA or the university got around to issuing a cease and desist letter. And they probably would have never found out about it. If they did send a letter, then you can stop selling them.

That said, they should approve NIL so that Buddy could have worked out a deal here and made some money for using his picture.
