He's not a terrible coach. He could probably be fine here. His time has passed though. He has some real 80s "Schiano Man" views of coaching and I don't think he's capable of adapting.

But hey - sometimes people totally miss where a fairly obvious nickname comes from.
Case in point:
When I was a pledge, there was an older brother named (first name redacted) Stickles.
His nickname was "Tess". EVERYBODY called him Tess.

It was many weeks into our pledging that somebody had the lightbulb go on, and said
"ahh, I get it!!! TESS... STICKLES!!"
And yeah, that somebody wasn't me.
