The Defense played great

today and continues to improve. Rutgers turned SU's offense over 4 times today, and Rutgers offense only had 235 yards of total offense and 13 first downs. I think the size up front and the depth are paying huge dividends for this defense. The LBs are playing better and Bromley is a beast.

Yep, overall the D has played well enough for SU to have a good year.

Sadly our "offensive-minded" head coach has been exposed for being nothing more than Sean Payton's errand boy.

Agreed...just tough when you know game after game the offense/special teams are putting you 10-17 points in the hole.

I see wins against UConn, Temple and USF...need to get one versus the other three.

They certainly did. They have had some bad games but today they were great. I just wish we could create turnovers better.

If they play at this level and stop the run the way they have the past 2 games AND create turnovers that would be awesome.
