- It’s been suggested that we finally met a team that could play as badly as we did. We shot 41% but they shot 36%. We were 4 for 20 from three but they were 4 for 21. We were 6 for 9 from the line. They were 3 for 11, (1 for 9 at one point - #freethrowsmatter!). We had bad turnovers and so did they. And in the end, we pulled it out, not them.

- Elijah Moore, where are you?

Yeah, so many things depressing about this year. Bell regressed big time, Donnie injured now, Moore starts hot but now is doing nothing, Jyare Davis begins the season looking like a solid contributor and now is looking more like a mid major player from Delaware, Carlos (nuff said), over hyped dry rub, etc. Ugh!

As much as the focus has been on Red, all these things happening at once plus JJ getting injured and whatever is happening with Westry; it really is odds-defying.

Gtech D had 12 steals and 5 blocks. that's a minimum of 17 FGA you lost.

The main thing Red called out in the FSU presser was turnovers, then last night we posted a 24.9% turnover rate. For context, if we did that over the course of the season we would rank 363rd out of 364 teams. And many of those turnovers were unforced.
It's mind-numbing.

JJ was hurt most of his freshman year, walking wounded last season apparently, and at least one prominent recruits guy threw cold water (at the time of Westry transferring to Syracuse) on Chance ever playing for SU.

The Freeman injury does suck, I think it is just something that is always risky with young big guys who are still growing. maybe a stress fracture or painful sprain.

Turnovers are also why our shot selection is key. Bad shots (looking at JJ) often lead to fast break opportunities. We give enough of those. The sequence with JJ, Cuffe, Eddie and Pete firing 3s...egads

Dry Rub should find his butt on the bench for the ENTIRE game if he tosses up another 3point shot. Just dumb. That's the last thing we need him doing... our big dude who hobbles around hanging out on the perimeter.

Carlos played 10 minutes and we won, hopefully that's the start of something good.

Reminiscent of our former foul prone football teams.

Red actually encouraged him to do so before the season. He said his idea of a perfect team with where everybody could do everything. Unfortunately in college, that's a pipe dream. You have to trey to fit together the pieces you have.

Yeah, I get that but at this point, we know what Dry Rub's game is. It ain't hoisting up 3s. It also isn't making ESPNs best passes from a Center. Yet, he continues to try.
