- We are 15-2 in the Dome and 2-10 away from it. If we get chosen for the NCAAs, then next Saturday will be our last home game. The team we saw today will be the one carrying the flag for us in the post season.

- We fell behind 2-11, had an encouraging 15-2 run, then collapsed to 8-28 the rest of the half. When Louisville scored the first 7 points of the second half the game was over.

- We got back within range to think about a comeback at 48-60 but had three straight offensive possession with that score and couldn’t make a dent in the scoreboard. The cards then ran the lead back up to an eventual 23 point.

- We didn’t seem to be running anything resembling an offense in the first half: Taurean Thompson, Andrew White and John Gillon were 0 for 7 from the field and scored just two points. The fact that those three players attempted only 7 shots was as significant as the fact that they made none of them.

- Tyler Lydon works hard to be our center but he’s not really the answer there and it limits his offensive game badly. He’s either struggling to make moves among the trees inside or jacking up a 25 footer. He doesn’t seem to have an intermediate game. If we had a true center, he could play power forward and work on that aspect of his game. He would also be in the high post vs. a zone.

- 6-10 Spaulding and 7-0 Mahoud were 12 for 14 from the field. We had no answer for them. We are all forwards and guards.

- Andrew White was like a machine during much of the conference season. He had 16 double-figure games in a row and scored 20+ in ten of those games. In the last two games he’s gotten only 14 shots and made four of them. He’s 2 for 10 from the arc. He had an air ball that made you wonder what was wrong. If this continues then we will play three more games this season.

- We again got hammered on the boards 28-39. Usually we can make up for some of that with an edge in turnovers. But in this game we had 16 of them, one more than Louisville.

- We stayed in the press too long. When it stops working, we might as well be in our half-court defense, looking to trap. Donovan Mitchel was 6 for 10 from the three point line and never had a hand in his face.

- What does Sherman Douglas think when he sees our alley-oop attempts and then looks at Louisville’s? If he were dead, he’d be spinning in his grave.

- At times we look like a freshman team playing the varsity. Its 30 games into the season. Nobody is inexperienced. Everybody knows the system. They know how to work with each other. It’s OK to lose but we should look over-matched at this point.

- We’d better beat Georgia Tech. I don’t want to be 17-15 on selection Sunday.

This team has the softest interior D and weakest rebounding since the 1980-81 team. It's amazing we have as many wins as we do and on the bubble, thanks to some great shooting games by Gillon.
