Jimmy Satalin said that “we seem to be a player short. I think that player is Jesse Edwards.” - We had 3 offensive rebounds in this game. That’s one every 10 missed shots, 13 minutes and 23 possessions. Notre Dame had 11 and converted them into 22 second chance points to our 6. - We only forced 7 turnovers, same as we had, which meant that Notre Dame’s +12 in rebounds was also a +12 in possessions. - Having the Boeheims score 47 of our 69 points is an impressive stat for them but not for the team. - Sy Torrence, the ‘passing’ point guard scored 5 points but had only 1 assist. Joe Girard, the ‘scoring’ point guard, scored 2 points but had 4 assists. - The fouls were 18-9 and ND gained +7 points form the line.
