- The horrendous starts have to come to an end.

- Our advantage over this team was supposed to be with our big men inside. Their advent age was supposed to be their three point shooting. So we launch 24 three points and they launch 14. Go figure.

- Shooters aren’t going to be consistent but our guys seem to have a hard time carrying over their confidence from a good game to the neat. Lucas Taylor started 1 for 13, then went 11 of 19. In these last two games, he’s 0 for 4. Chris Bell had good games against Florida State, Georgia Tech and Louisville and looked completely lost tonight. Coppa Moore broke out of a slump tonight. Or did he?

Glad you're back.

The Free Throws were pretty Foul.

Agreed, SWC. A few things I'll add...

- Free throw shooting nearly cost us the game. You can't expect to shoot that terrible and win games. We're just not good enough. Tonight it worked out, and I'm happy about that, but don't think that will happen much if we don't improve significantly.

- Speaking of missed free throws... my gawd, what is up with Bell?? For many 3pt shooters, if they can get to the free throw line, they can usually get their stroke back. With Bell, not the case at all. He seems so lost.

- The final 2-3 minutes worked. However, the offense executed poorly during that stretch, especially one of the last possessions where JJ stalls until about 8 seconds and then goes 1:1, can't shake the defender, it's too late to pass it, so he heaves up a really difficult shot and comes no where near of making it. ND then gets the ball with a chance to tie.

Yes! They have got to stress FREE throws at practice. No excuse for the team to shoot them that badly. Especially this team!

They have to emphasize free throws at practice! And the key to the rest of the season is to stress defense like the last part of the 1st half and the 2nd half. Only way for this team to succeed.
