- It’s all about Battle. He’s the most dynamic scorer on the team, (although I think he can contribute more in other ways). We’ll need him at 100% against the best teams- like the ones we are about to play.

- This was the first game both our centers got into foul trouble and they both fouled out. We can still beat Toledo in that circumstance but don’t expect to beat Maryland or Kansas without all hands on deck.

- Toledo is not really a three point shooting team, (the led the nation last year in percentage of points scored on 2 point shots), but they got back in this game by hitting 4 treys late in the first half and took the lead by opening the second half with one. They were 8 for 13 at that point. They didn’t move the ball laterally to set that up. They got it into the high post. We would collapse back to guard against the pass down low and defend the guy with the ball, who would then turn and hit a guy outside who was already squared up to the basket when he caught the ball, (he didn’t have to turn to catch it and re-set). Our future opponents saw that and so we will see it again.
