- I’m tired of winning despite something: shooting, rebounding, dumb fouls, etc. I prefer winning because of doing something really well- other than just stopping the other team from doing things well.
- I had hoped going 10 for 16 from three vs. Connecticut meant we were out of our shooting slump. I guess not.
- What exactly was the plan, Dion, when you missed the front end of that one and one with your team up by a point and 1.7 seconds left? You ran through three guys to try to get the rebound? Wouldn’t it have been better to just let the ball bounce away?
- JB was upset at Kris Joseph in the West Virginia game when he let a ball bounce off of him and out of bounds with 6 seconds left. In that instance, he was probably fouled as he got to the ball. In this case there was no excuses when he did the same thing with nobody around him at the end of the Cardinal’s late run. Kris also had two quick fouls at the beginning of the second half that limited him 25 minutes of playing time.
