Kentucky who won in 1948, 1949, 1952, 1958, 1978, 1996 and 1998
Louisville who won in 1980 and 1986, (and Pitino won in 1996 with Kentucky)
Kansas, who won in 1952, 1988 and 2008
Ohio State, who won in 1960 and got upset the next two years by Cincinnati.
We lost to Ohio State in a close game and we'd look better if they went on to win it. Of course we beat Louisville twice. Somehow having a team we beat twice win the national title seems kind of disgusting, even if it would, by inference, offer some credit to our team. We thought we had the best team in the country in 2010 and Pitino beat us twice. We finally broke through and beat him twice this year and throught maybe this is our year. To watch him snipping the nets and holding the trophy would be tough to take.
I'm pulling for the Buckeyes.
