The Future of Syracuse Football

Really hope Raymon can make it back.

With jay and Zian gone d tackle takes a hit. Although I imagine the sugar bear will grow into it. Still, would leave Sloan, crume, and raymon if he can be back as only d tackles with experience. Double W will be here but would like to add one more plus zeke (who looks really good on the outside) or sugar bear. Coleman is out there also but haven't heard much from him.

It will be nice to have some dynamic wide receivers again. I have been looking at highlights of Cooper, Custis and Williams. And I think we will hear form Cornelius and Funderburke next year. Guys who can get separation and make plays can sure make a difference.
The best one of the bunch IF they can land him might be Steve Ishmael.

if we can get lucky with WW we will be set. Otherwise DT could be a potential position to watch. Before Raymon went down at least we had 2 solid starters with Raymon and Crume. But with the severity of his injury I can't see him being back full strength by next season. Sloan has shown promise, but we will be dangerously thin. However with Simmons coming back i think a guy like Thompson could slide over. He actually has potential to be great, not many interior OL men will be able to deal with his quickness. Sucks a guy like Holley couldn't see immediate playing time

You know what is great about the football program right now...it's the heart and desire that the team seems to have embraced. I give a lot of credit to Macky, Bromley, and Spruill for their leadership by example. Very impressed with the effort we see on the field and that kind of toughness can be contagious.

Johnson's pretty big. Could he play tackle?

Someone will just be the " Next Man Up, " love that quote by Scott, I can hear him tell a recruit. When you put on a Syracuse Uniform, always be ready, you can be the "Next Man Up."
