The good, bad, and the ugly

Good

• As i posted elsewhere, Riley did it all. Running, receiving, returning.
• The DL continues to look fairly good
• We finally hit some good runs
• Able to create turnovers
• Won
• Hofrichter-He's a keeper

Bad

• Penalties, mostly of the 15-yard type. Will not get away with that against better teams (Pierce being the chief antagonist)
• Broken tackles-This drives me freakin' nuts. While CMU runners were routinely breaking tackles (Dowels missed at least 3), the 1st broken tackle that i can recall from us was from Ishmael at the end of the game in the play that he fumbled. Our guys, particularly our RB's, do not ever break tackles. The exception to this was Pierre at the end of the game
• Too many times we lost tons of field position by letting the punt get past us. We lost a ton of yardage because of this and it will cost us against better teams

Ugly
1st Quarter-Worst I've seen our offense since G-Rob.
