The growth is apparent...

These guys were in the same position against Cal midway through the second half, and they let Cal bury them. They got down 10 in this game (in a much more hostile environment) and battled back. They played inspired, hard fought basketball against a ranked team on their home court.

It's not all good obviously, defensive rebounding was poor, and the turnovers were bad. With that said, turnovers are mistakes of youth. If we had five less turnovers, we win this game. This wasn't poetry, but it was progress. With this team I'll take it.

AND... Trevor looked a little less shaky taters out there tonight.

What I have been saying. This team will get better.

The team fought to the end. The best part about this is that so many of the turnovers were unforced. They'll get better.

There has been so much progress since NYC. It is frustrating to not get a shot off at the end, but if they keep getting better this wont be a lost season.

And we get Nova and St.John's soon. If we can play well in those games and win 1 (or both) I'll be confident going into ACC play
