I am not sure if this was posted in the daily articles (can't see most of the posts in that thread), so I'll post it here. For those of you with a journalism background, how does the process work - is there an editorial staff meeting where they say: "Ok, Joe we need 500 words on North Carolina, focus on their toughness. Mary, I need a sidebar piece on how many ACC teams made it to the Elite 8. Bill, we need a Syracuse story - get creative, I dunno maybe like 'who would be a bigger Syracuse fan, Hitler or Stalin?' - you know something like that."

I'm surprised. The sporting news is still in existence?

Thats always nice, when you compare a college bball team to Stalin and Hitler.

Here's the best thing I took away from the article:

All the hate is okay. It keeps fueling our team's motivation at maximum!

I'm also in the same boat as I think the article is not being completely negative. Says some positives.

Btw, did I miss the part they compare us to Hitler and Stalin? Because I doesn't see it.

I thought it was actually kinda positive, said JB was a great coach and just threw snippets from the pressed in.

Yeah, I thought that too. It was a bipolar article.

Back from the ledge Houston. The only thing I don't agree with in that article is that it is possible to "go all in" on Syracuse. Duh!

Decourcy with another nasty one showing on the front page. Unless it's the same one just updated for the E8.

He must be seeing how Gottlieb gets his hits, and decided to go for broke.
