At the grocery store, if a person has a six-pack of Coke attached with the plastic rings does that count as 1 item or 6 items if they are going through the express lane?

Definitely one. I agree.

The thing that gets me with the express line is I’ve often gotten behind someone that is totally abusing the system. 12 items when they have 20+, and I’ve only seen someone called out by the cashier once.

That one time was me, when I legitimately wasn’t paying attention to the signage and stepped up with a cart of maybe 16-18 items. Still triggered by that to this day.

Should probably post this transgression in the H0T Takes thread, tbh.

It never ceases to amaze me how these guys back Boeheim no matter how obviously bad some of his decisions are. Whether it's Pauly and Steve on their show, or Axe on his, Boeheim could have watched Carmelo transfer in a second hypothetical portal year and they'd still say "Trust the plan trust the plan blaaaaaaaaaa, trust the hall of famer blaaaaa." I mean I listen to these guys and they actually put all logical and visual evidence aside to defend the absurd scenario that just played out w the Kadary's portal decision and JoeG.

I mean I'm not naive- these guys are most likely paid voices for the program and have to watch what they say, especially Pauly, whether it's through IMG or whatever, but this week has been a sh** show of excuses and nonsense on the local airwaves as we try to make sense of this Kadary nuke blast to the program. We had the floor general 98% of programs look for but we let him go for an inferior player. Just can't stand it.

Mine is the person who takes way too long in the self checkout. I'm sitting there holding a few items waiting while another person takes a year to bag the 30 items they brought into self checkout.

This is the absolute worst, all while 5 self checkout stations aren’t open for some dumb reason, about as much reliability as the McDonalds ice cream machine.

I am standing in the express lane and a woman has at least 70 items and is in front of a now long line and says, sorry, but I have a baby at home. Now, I'm understanding but we all have things to do and it does say express lane.
