I’d love to see our players regularly cutting through the lane and much less standing on the perimeter. Lampkin has mentioned this too in post-games. he would feast on guys cutting through the lane with his excellent passing skills.

They have been running the play where Lampkin has the ball in the high post, and Starling runs right past him towards the basket, where Starling gets the ball inside the three point line with a full head of steam towards the basket. By the end of the TT game, they were jumping the pass, and it resulted in turnovers or loose balls.

I'd like to see the same action, but with Bell coming around the other side off a back pick as the second option. I think Starling being a decoy in that same play could pull the defense out of shape for Bell to get wide open threes.

Or less of a decoy, but Lampkin has two very good options.

The nearside corner could also be open, as the Lampkin Starling play was really effective and the defense was having to sell out to stop it.

Lampkin seems to be a good passer, but he tends to lock in on one target, we haven't seen him have to work through a QB style progression.

The development of the offense and defense has been ongoing, but seems really slow for a bunch of veterans with only a couple freshmen worked in.

We were literally just discussing the play they ran over and over, and you jump in to complain they aren't running any plays.

They haven't run much isolation at all this year. When they have, it has been really effective.

I’ve watched every game I just can’t stand it. It’s mostly jj doing iso, without him none of that would work

i thought that was the whole point of having a big man who can pass

so far havent used that rare advantage nearly enough, imo

bell has gotten better at finshing and freeman can finish too...jj is also much better at driving this year as well

this team has the pieces to make teams pay with weak side ball movement in support of a pick n roll

Through five games, Lampkin is leading the team in assists and turnovers.

His passing sometimes is a little too ambitious.

Going for the simpler pass to hit the open three point jump shooter might be preferable than the behind the back no look slingshot pass to the cutter we've seen from him at times.

eddies indivudual stats arent the issue...its how he fits into the offense and the offball movement

even though eddie (injured) has decent numbers the offense isnt really using his skills enough imo

a lot of standing around on the perimeter
