Savage is a tough MF'er.

On their last scoring drive SU beat the living hell out of him. He still made some plays that no one on our side could make if they had all day to throw. You've gotta be impressed.

Agreed that Savage soldiered on under heavy bombardment, but the real reason we lost is that our offense lacks that "pop" to finish off drives.

The main reason we lost was our O could not do its job despite a D that allowed 230ish total yards and got two TOs.

Savage, to your point, is a hard-nosed QB. That's what was impressive...and aspirational.
