...was how we shut Gardner down in the second half.
The guy KILLED us in Milwaukee, and really seemed to get into a groove at the end of the first half. I was nervous that Marquette had "figured" something out, and were going to be much more effective offensively in the second half.
But instead of letting Gardner sustain his momentum, we locked him up. In fact, take away that late desperation three he hit, and he didn't do much in the second half at all.
Just a great defensive performance, all around from our kids!
